Since my back operation, L4/5 Discetomy and Laminectomy, I’d made slow progress, despite receiving some Physio. Laura was recommended by a friend and with her bespoke advice and exercises I have made great improvements and have recently managed to play 6 rounds of golf in 7 days whilst on holiday!

Nerve pain - Keith Laughlin
I’ve been working with Laura for the last 18 months and I cannot recommend her enough. I came to Laura after being with a few different Physiotherapists over 4-5 year period where I experienced nerve pain from my lower back. Basically, various injuries from Rugby had caused me to compensate and move in certain ways so it wasn’t one single issue that was causing the issues.
Laura approaches everything from a global perspective asking you to lunge, squat, walk and move to analyse and investigate as you go. Everything is explained to make sense and you leave equipped with your programme for developing the work on. Usually hip stability in my case!
I’m now seeing Laura on a bi monthly basis to progress further but she has fixed my major issues of nerve pain running down my leg, which was happening every day. I am able to do nearly all movements. The girl is a genius!
Postpartum - Rachel Forbes
Laura is amazing, she assessed me postpartum after having my 3rd baby and then set about addressing my stability issues. I had three very healthy pregnancies and managed to maintain a level of fitness and training throughout, I didn’t realise how much my stability had been affected by pregnancy and how it was subsequently having an impact on my movement postpartum. Laura spent so much time with me to break down my movements, identify the issues and provide a series of rehab exercises for me to work on independently. Laura’s knowledge of biomechanics is reassuring and my sessions and follow ups have made a huge difference. I am stronger and more stable thanks to Laura’s hard work. I would recommend to anyone postpartum.
Hip Injury - Jane Johnston
Laura has been helping me rehabilitate from a hip injury. She has provided exercises that meet my needs along my recovery journey. Her assessment and treatment protocols and regular check-ins have ensured that my recovery is progressing. Working in a holistic way she has enabled me to maintain my cardiovascular fitness which had been impacted by my injury. She is knowledgeable, professional and makes the rehabilitation process fun.

I first came to Laura for Sports Massage to help release my tight and aching muscles as my lifestyle is a mixture of lots of driving and strength training. As someone that has lifted weights for twenty years I thought I knew it all and didn’t take her up on the offer of a Muscle Imbalance Assessment. After some convincing I went for the assessment and it is the best thing I have ever done. I now follow Laura’s specific exercise program and go for monthly assessments. I have solved a lot of my problems and my strength numbers in the gym have increased by 20%. I feel so much more balanced day to day.
